How to perform a Gua Sha massage?

Stone plate massage should be performed along meridians, i.e., lines connecting acupuncture points on the face. According to traditional Chinese medicine, these are the channels through which the life-giving energy of Qi moves. Gua Sha massage, thanks to the stimulation of Qi, restores the harmony of body and mind, and helps the skin regain lost elasticity and healthy glow. You will carry it out as follows:

Warm 3-4 drops of Moon Drops serum in your hands and massage gently on your face and neck. Close your eyes for a moment and take a few deep breaths to feel its soothing scent.

Reach for the Gua Sha stone while holding it from the convex side and start a drainage massage. First, focus on the neck – lightly pressing the plate against the skin, guide it downwards and upwards as shown in the picture.

Go for  massage of the mandible, moving from the chin to the temples. Pay special attention to the point near the ear where the mandible connects to the temples – this is where the most tension accumulates.

Time for cheeks – move Gua Sha from the center of your face to the outside. Be sure to thoroughly massage the nasolabial fold and the area under the eyes to help reduce shadows and swellings.

Finally, massage the eyebrows and forehead, which will act as a natural lifting for them.
